Gas Foil Bearing Technology

Gas foil bearings have contact with the rotor prior to start-up. As the rotor begins to rotate, hydrodynamic air pressure is immediately generated. This air pressure causes the rotor to float on a nearly frictionless film of air. Our enhanced air foil bearing technology effectively addresses the challenges encountered in conventional lubrication oil bearing systems, such as low efficiency, short lifespan, and the necessity for regular maintenance and lubrication.
